Rolled whole leaves
All of our tea-based blends use a base of rolled whole leaves. No dust, ever.
You can see exactly what you’re drinking - they’re nice and big for a punchy flavour, and brewing them properly means that there’s no bitterness.

The Kit.
Proper tea needs a proper pot. Ours is simple, effective and perfect for a cup and a bit.
It’s basket free so the leaves have loads of space to absorb as much water as possible. The borosilicate glass is perfect too - it keeps the tea hot, doesn’t stain and you can see everything inside.

It's In The Bag.
Our nifty tea bags are pretty roomy, meaning our rolled whole leaves can absorb more water.
We stick the right amount of tea for each blend inside. More good news: they’re made of cornstarch so they’re completely compostable.

As Nature Intended.
We’re fussy about the non-tea part of our blends too. We only ever use completely natural herbs, fruits and oils; nothing dodgy or artificial.

All done by hand, our Weights & Measures team does it all. They have an unsurpassed eye for detail and whether it’s a consistently perfect tea bag weight or gloriously straight heat seal - nothing makes it through if it isn’t just right.

When we made our first tea bags, our supplier was a little resistant to put the amount of tea we wanted in each bag. We figured the best move was to tinker right here at Tea HQ - so we bought T Rex and Brachiosaurus, our tea bag machines.
